The first Battle For Giostone tournament.
Eight guild teams, a 500 USDC prize pool and a grand final streamed live, before the game had even reached alpha.
Eight teams answered the call: Real Deal Guild, Equinox Guild, Mad Lads Guild, NorthStar Gaming Guild, Tagos Pader Guild, Leo Knights Esports, Snowfox Guild and a team that called itself No Guild.
The prize pool was 500 USDC, split 250, 150 and 100. Rounds were best of three. Mad Lads Guild and Equinox Guild met in the grand final, with Tagos Pader Guild and Snowfox playing for bronze.
It was the first time anyone outside the studio had played Battle For Giostone competitively. It would not be the last.
